The Male Room #54 Wheels

Time to get out your wheels and join in with The Male Room's new challenge.

http://themaleroomchallengeblog.blogspot.com/2017/02/challenge-54-theme.html

I chose a digi stamp - from Digi Stamp Boutique - of a skateboarder and spent a happy little while colouring him in to match the strip of washi down the left hand side.

We have a bit of a family story to tell related to skateboards and it may make you smile. When one of my sons was in his twenties he decided he wanted to recapture his childhood and asked for a skateboard for Christmas. So Christmas morning out he went and promptly fell off and dislocated his shoulder on the road kerb - seems he hadn't factored in how grown ups don't bounce like children when they fall! Not the best day to visit A&E, but it makes a good story to tell!

Supplies:
Stamps: Digi Stamp Boutique, Skater Joe
Pens: Promarkers, cool grey 3, mustard, blush, dusky pink, ivory, burnt orange; Spectrum Noir Colorista, cyan, pale mint, canary, gold
Die: Lawn Fawn, large stitched square stackables
Embellishments: Washi from my stash

How will you use wheels on your creations? Can't wait to see and maybe you'll have a story to tell too. Anyway do take a peek at The Male Room's DT inspiration - here - before you go off and get all crafty.

Thanks for your time today, I really appreciate your visit to my blog.  And keep crafting!

  1. I think this is such a cute card! Love the little dude, he's obviously enjoying himself. Great work.

I know I shouldn't laugh about your son's accident, but it was amusing! Hope all is much better now. Deborah xx
