Sunday Spot

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches and the colours from Winnie & Walter.

Here's my card:

I decided to use yellow card to die cut the word celebrate and then stacked it up and heat embossed it a couple of times with hologram powder. I then stamped and heat embossed the rose strip in white and added the three pinky shades on top with an ink duster.

I felt it needed a little more yellow so I stencilled a splodge of colour on the base card before adhering the strip and die cut word on top. I finished off with a trio of pink enamel dots.

Supplies:
Stamps: Winnie & Walter Scenery Bed of Roses
Inks: SU, cherry cobbler, real red, melon mambo, daffodil delight; Versamark clear + Ranger Superfine white & Funstamps Hologram embossing powders
Die1: Winnie & Walter Cutaways, Celebrate
Stencil: Uniko, Pure Florals Chrysthanthemum
Embellishments: enamel dots from my stash

Huge thanks for dropping by my blog today, you know I love to have your company.

And keep crafting!

  4. Jane, this is a perfect way to combine the two challenges! I love how you've used the colors along with our sketch. The blending on the horizontal strip is amazing! Thanks so much for joining us at CC&S! :)
