Tuesday Talk

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Craft Stamper magazine's February Take It, Make It Challenge.

Take It, Make It Challenge

Here's my card:

I created a background by smooshing pink and purple distress inks onto water colour card. I added salt while the inks were still wet which gives a very pretty and subtle sparkle. Once dry I stamped the script and seed heads using the same ink colours.

I stamped and die cut the large flower and added a sentiment by stamping straight onto the background. Once the die cut flower was adhered using foam pads I stamped an extra black grass stem and added a trio of tiny black gems.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Beautiful Blooms I, Large French Script Background, Organic Wishes
Inks: Ranger distress, wilted violet, picked raspberry; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Dies: Uniko, Beautiful Blooms I; Lawn Fawn, large stitched square stackables
Embellishments: Gems from my stash

Thanks so much for dropping by today, it's always more fun when I have company.

And keep crafting!
