Wednesday Words

I seem to be on a bit of a roll with STAMPloration Challenges at the moment. today it's the turn of the TAGplorations Challenge.

What an amazing image! I was completely taken by the black and white swan - stunning!

For my tag I used a pinstripe background to capture the feeling of the two swans and then added a hand cut red rose on top. A red rose is the symbol of LOVE after all!

I finished off with a block sentiment and a black ribbon. I'm loving the look of black, white and red, so dramatic don't you think?

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Blocks Pinstripe, Pure Florals Rose, Simply Said Blocks
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags
Pens: Copic, R29, R39, YG67

Huge thanks for your time today, I'm so pleased that you spent some of it with me looking at my blog.

And keep crafting!

  1. I love how you used the inspiration of the black and white swans and translated it into the black and white stripy background which highlight your red rose so beautifully. So glad you were inspired by our current TAGplorations Challenge over at STAMPlorations. We hope to see you back again soon! Karola, DT, InvisiblePinkCards
