Well I loved the awesome sketch, but have to confess the lemon bliss had me at a bit of a loss. Yellows are not really my thing! But I found a photo with a bit of yellow and a surprising number of yellow paper scraps in my stash.
The photo and journalling are the story of my grandsons's first encounter with chocolate cake. He had so many foods that brought out an allergic reaction and griping stomach pains back then that he had missed out for a long time. A date used to be his special treat. Fortunately he's now beginning to grow out of many of them and new foods are gradually being introduced back into his diet, but the sheer pleasure of this allergy free chocolate cake just shines out from the pics.
Just look at his face concentrating! A gorgeous little squishy!
I inked round the edges of some of the diecuts to help them stand out from the same coloured background a bit more. And added my usual mix of tiny word stickers and enamel dots in clusters to frame the layout.
