Monday Moment

There's a lovely CAS sketch at Less is More and I've used it for today's card share.

I have rotated the sketch by a quarter turn to suit my card image - hoping this is allowed. I did check but couldn't find anything to say no.

I started by stencilling the rectangular block from the sketch using two colours of oxide inks through one of the patterns on Funky Fossil's Make Your Mark III.

Then I stamped, coloured and hand cut one of Donna's cute little doggies from More Furry Friends.

I cut the sentiment into a strip for the dog to sit on.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, More Furry Friends
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress oxide, dried marigold, wild honey
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Make Your Mark III
Pens: Copic, 505, R17, C1, C3, C5, C7

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog today, it's been so much fun to have your company for a while.

Tuesday Talk

Today I'm sharing a card I created using the colours pink, grey and gold from the challenge at Less is More.

I was pulled by the grey towards an elephant.

And this adorable cutie from T4TD You're Elephantastic won the day. Handy that it had a heart to cater for the pink too. So that just left the gold. I decided to use some of the beautiful gold sandgrain card from Papermill Direct and die cut the you from T4TD Be Kind, Be You. I then stamped the rest of the sentiment underneath.

Supplies:
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, N1, N3, RV00, RV17

It's been fabulous to have you stop by my blog today. thanks so much.

Less is More is still in celebratory mode for their 10th birthday and I'm joining in again with a floral card. Got to have flowers for a birthday!

I use the beautiful Hello Gorgeous flower cluster from Funky Fossil stamped off the edge and heat embossed in white onto green cardstock.

I added the sentiment from the new Graphic Words set and then had fun colouring it all with my Miya oil pencils.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Hello Gorgeous & Graphic Words
Ink: Versamark clear + WOW! opaque white embossing powder
Colours: Miya oil pencils

Thursday Thoughts

Less is More is celebrating its 10th birthday at the moment. With chocolate! Mmmm so my sort of thing.

Well the colour chocolate anyway! Which is just as well as I discovered I had no stamps of chocolate - which is an enormous surprise considering the amount I actually eat, probably even doubled this last twelve months!

So I came up with this card instead:

Hedgehogs are chocolate coloured - right? And the bunch of leaves could be some of that posh chocolate don't you think? Milk chocolate is my favourite but I have been known to indulge in white and dark chocolate too, so that gave my Copic E number pens a good workout.

The stripy border at the bottom is a Uniko Background Builder Classics stamp and is so useful for grounding and holding images in place.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Woodland Critters; Uniko, Background Builders Classics
Ink: SU, chocolate chip
Die: T4TD, Woodland Critters
Pens: Copic, E25, E31, E37, E41, E47, E55, E57

It's been fabulous to have you drop by today, thanks so much.

Wednesday Words

The challenge at Less Is More is all about things in a row. And I love this design feature so of course I had to play along.

I chose the sweet little piggy from Funky Fossil's Hogs & Kisses stamp set and stamped them nose to tail.

I know I should have left it at that, but I couldn't resist adding in another favourite of mine - balloons.

Supplies:
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, R37, R46, R59, R81, R83, R85, C3, C5, YG01, YG03, RV52, E50

Thanks so much for stopping by today, it's always so much more fun when you do.

Friday Focus

Time to play at Less is More especially as it's Sharon's birthday CASe card to be inspired by!

And this is how it inspired me:

I picked up on the curved central design, the  placement of the flowers and of course the fresh citrussy colours, but went even more CAS than Sharon. I used stamps from Tracey Hey's Wreath Rascals and coloured using my Copic pens. The single flower was popped up onto foam pads.

Supplies:
Stamps: Tracey Hey, Wreath Rascals
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, E00, E21, E33, YG00, Y02, Y04, Y06, Y17, Y18, Y35, Y38. YR02, YR04, YR07, YR16

Oooo! Shades of Purple! Now that's a challenge I'm not going to miss! The gallery at Less is More is going to be so gorgeous!

Here's my contribution:

Any excuse to print out Oddella and get her coloured up is a bonus too. As you can see I used many shades of purple from the violets through to the deep purples. As she is a bit of a Halloween zombie in the purples I added in the odd tinge of green too.

Supplies:
Pens: Copic, C0, C1, V04, V12, V15, V17, BV00, BV01, BV02, BV04, BV13, BV17, BV29

I really appreciate you stopping by today, thanks enormously.

Wednesday Words

Today I'm playing along with the Summer Flowers Challenge at Less Is More.

And what could be a more iconic UK Summer flower than a rose?

I started by stamping the horizontal lines of the edge and slightly down from the top of the card. I then stamped the rose bud onto a scrap of card, coloured it up and hand cut it. I chose yellow for friendship for the rose, but couldn't resist adding some pink highlights to it as well.

The rose was popped up onto foam pads and I finished it all off with a simple greeting.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Blocks Pinstripe II, Simply Said, Pure Florals Rose
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black
Colours: Copic, RV00, RV02, Y02, Y04, YG63

Monday Moment

Today I'm sharing the card I created for the challenge at Less Is More.

Here's my card:

I've used a border die that's been in my stash forever, so long in fact I have no idea which company it is from. It has a label near it to say it was from a magazine, so maybe it was! I placed a strip of patterned paper behind it - from an awesome new Funky Fossil pad In To The Blue.

I stamped one of the tiny sentiments fro Uniko's Simply Said and matted it onto a stitched square base card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Simply Said
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Dies: Lawn Fawn, stitched square stackables; Magazine freebie border die
Paper: Funky Fossil, In To The Blue

Huge thanks for visiting my blog today, you know I always love it when you do.

Wednesday Words

Today I'm playing along with the challenge at Less is More.

It's their one layer challenge with the theme of Going Dotty. Here's my card:

I used a couple of older Clearly Besotted stamp sets that seemed to fit the dotty theme perfectly. On the flowers I inked up in yellow and then added a touch of pink to the outer edges. And as this is a one layer card I rounded the bottom right corner with a punch.

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, A Little Something, Thank You
Inks: Memento, bamboo leaves, dandelion, lilac posies, tuxedo black
Punch: Xcut corner rounder

Thanks so much for dropping by today, it's been so fun to have your company.
