Wednesday Words

Today I'm sharing a set of ATCs I've made for the challenge at Happy Little Stampers. The theme is Ocean/Sea.

Here they are:

I started with a teal card and stencilled over it using A Colorful Life's Waves stencil. I then stamped, coloured and die or hand cut the images from clearly Besotted. Once I'd decided where to place the images I stamped the bubbles and greetings before adhering them.

I finished each card with a trio of clear gems and some Wink of Stella sparkle and matted them all onto a matching teal card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Fairy Tale Mermaid, Sweet Sea-horse, Under the Sea
Stencil: A Colorful Life, Waves
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, twisted citron; Versafine Clair, nocturne; Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, YG01, YG03, YG13, YG17, Y13, Y18, BG15, BG32, B02, B04, B06, E000, R20
Embellishments: clear gems; Wink of Stella, clear

Tuesday Talk

Hi! Today I'm sharing an ATC that I made for the Happy Little Stampers ATC Challenge.

I'm being very last minute with this challenge and am hoping I get linked up in time as I find the time difference between the UK and Australia quite difficult to work out!

Any way in time or not this is what I created:

I used a digi stamp from STAMPlorations which is actually a tag, but with the top part removed it's the perfect size for a matted ATC.

I really indulged myself with choosing my favourite purples and pinks and coloured the flowers and added background shading using Copic pens.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations digi, Spring Blooms Mug bonus tags
Pens: Copic, RV02, RV09,RV17, RV66, E000, YG63, V15, V17, C3, C5, C7, Y18; Uniball micro, black

Huge thanks for looking today, it's always so much more fun when you do.

And keep crafting!

Happy Little Stampers May ATC Challenge

Hello!

And yes that is the theme for the Happy Little Stampers May ATC Challenge!

I simply matted it onto white and then purple card and added a die cut hello on top. What could be simpler than that?

Inks: Ranger alcohol, purple twilight, pool

Happy Little Stampers March ATC Challenge

I'm a bit hooked on atcs at the moment and have been making loads and swapping loads all over the world. So I'm delighted to share my Happy Little Stampers DT atc coins with you today.

The theme is HEARTS and I bought a whole bunch of these fun digis from Bugaboo. Here's a set of three coins I made with some of them.

I printed the images and then used a circle die to cut them to the correct size. I also die cut a little pink scalloped frame for each coin.

I coloured them using my Copic pens and added tiny gems in between the words. The hearts all got glimmered up with glossy accents.

Supplies:
Stamps: Bugaboo, Love, Ewe & Lovebug
Pens: Copic, RV02, RV04, RV09, RV29, RV39, C0, C1, C3, C5, C7
Dies: Spellbinders, standard circles small & classic scalloped circles small
Embellishments: Glossy Accents; Gems from my stash

Happy Little Stampers February ATC Challenge

Just reminding you to check to see if you're a winner of the Thyroid Blog Hop or my 100 followers giveaway - HERE

Have you been bitten by the atc bug yet? Well whatever the answer here's your chance to get involved and play along with the February Happy Little Stampers ATC Challenge.

I have a growing stash of stencils and had a bit of a root through to see what took my fancy for this challenge. And I was able to find enough to allow me to create my cards entirely from using stencils

I started with pale blue card stock and inked through the leaf stencil in shades of green. I cut this card down to size - 2.25" x 3.25" - and added the word, script and twig patterns in black soot distress oxide ink..

I matted the stencilled card onto black card cut to the required 2.5" x 3.5".

Supplies:
Stencils: Heffy Doodle, Unbe-leaf-able; TCW, Mini Grow Page
Inks:  Color Box, Ocean; Ranger distress oxide, twisted citron, cracked pistachio, black soot

Hoping to see some of your creations pop up in the HLS gallery. Link up your atcs HERE.

Thanks for looking today, I really appreciate your visit to my blog.

And keep crafting!

Happy Little Stampers January ATC Challenge

Today sees the start of the first 2019 atc challenge at Happy Little Stampers. And it's a beauty of a theme.

Well definitely a beauty of a theme, but way out from my usual style. But I have to tell you I just loved creating this trio of atcs and hope you'll love them too.

I used left over papers from Graphic 45's Floral shoppe - just perfect for a vintage theme - and roughed up the edges with my scissors.

I used some matching Graphic 45 chipboard stickers. And I added a wooden shape, a punched border and a strip of lace to each card too. Then I finished them off with some inspirational word quotes from a Tim Holtz pack.

Supplies:
Papers: Graphic 45, Floral Shoppe
Chipboard: Graphic 45, Floral Shoppe
Punch: ek border
Stickers: Tim Holtz idea-ology, small talk
lace & wooden shapes from my stash

Be sure to pop on over to Happy Little Stampers to check out what the rest of the DT have created. And if you're interested in trading with me for this set of 3 just leave a message in the comments or check out my album in the Worldwide ATC Swap facebook group - HERE.

Happy Little Stampers November ATC Challenge

The November Happy Little Stampers ATC Challenge starts today and for this month your cards need to feature some sewing.

As I had just recently finished quilting a cover for my eagerly awaited granddaughter I decided to go with real sewing and make my card look a bit like it had been quilted.

I started by stamping and colouring the flower and leaf - another nod to the sew theme as they both have stitching. I also stamped a greeting and then got to work with my sewing machine. I have a small sewing machine that i use for paper projects - bet you can guess its colour!

I finished off my atc by adding a scatter of black gems.

Supplies:
Stamps: HLS, Doodled Flowers
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Colours: Prismacolor pencils; Copic, C0
Black gems from my stash

I hope you'll craft along and join in with the HLS ATC Challenge and there's also a facebook group where you can join up with other ATC crafters and arrange swaps - HERE.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, I really apprciate you taking the time.

Happy Little Stampers October ATC Challenge

It's time for a new atc challenge at Happy Little Stampers, so today I'm sharing a DT set of cards.

The theme is Holiday and I've taken the american interpretation of this word and gone with a Christmas.

The stamps I've used were magazine freebies and if I'm honest were the only reason I bought the magazine.

I've kept my cards quite clean and concentrated on colouring rather than layers and backgrounds. Hope you like them!

Supplies:
Stamps: Magazine freebies
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; SU, smoky slate, pear pizzazz
Pens: Copic, C0, C1, C3, C5, G94, G21, Y04, B37

Of course the rest of the HLS atc team have made delightful samples to stir up your creativity, so do go take a look - HERE.

Happy Little Stampers September ATC Challenge

Today sees the start of a new atc challenge at Happy Little Stampers. The theme for this month is VINTAGE.

Now if I'm being honest vintage is a style I struggle with. So a few visits to Pinterest were required! The tag in a pocket idea was discovered there. Thanks to all the pinners who inspired this.

Fortunately I had some scraps of paper left over from my youngest son's wedding album and as they were from the Vintage Girl collection they fir the bill perfectly. Then a bit of stamping in brown and tearing of edges and I was on a roll!

I finished off with some punched butterflies, a ribbon and pearl brad and a bit of inking round the edges. Hoping this qualifies as vintage!

Supplies:
Papers: Photoplay, Vintage Girl
Stamps: Kaisercraft, Botanical, Life Sentiments
Inks: SU, baked brown sugar, pink pirouette
Die: Xcut
Punch: Martha Stewart, butterflies
Embellishments: ribbon & pearl brad from my stash

Do hop on over to the Happy Little Stampers blog where you can find amazing inspiration for vintage atcs - HERE.

Thanks so much for your time today, it's been fun having you visit.

And keep crafting!
