Tuesday Talk

Today I'm entering the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge at STAMPlorations.

I used one of their fabulous digi stamps that is just perfect for this theme.

I printed it out onto buff card to get the autumnal feel and colours onto a good start. Then I used Inktense watercolour pencils to add more colours. I die cut this panel and then matted it onto orange pearlised card and finally onto a dark brown matt card base.

Supplies:
Card: Papermill Direct, buff, daiquiri cocktail, mocha brown
Colours: Derwent Inktense watercolour pencils

Thanks so much for dropping by today, it's been fabulous to have you visit.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Wednesday Words

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the STAMPlorations Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge.

I was inspired by the colours and the segment lines on the citrus fruits.

I used the butterfly cover plate from CUTplorations as my starting point. I trimmed it down and adhered it to black card and added colour using Arteza brush pens. I matted it onto a thin green layer and then onto black and finally another thin green layer.

I stamped out the greeting from Brave One and then chopped it up and used part of it on my card.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Brave One
Die: CUTplorations butterfly cover plate
Inks: versafine Clair, nocturne
Colour: Arteza brush pens, orange, red, bumblebee yellow

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog today, it's been great to have your company for a while.

Keep safe, stay home and craft instead!

Wednesday Words

Today I'm playing along with the March Theme & Prompt Challenge at STAMPlorations.

I was inspired by the pinks and have included a flower image as my nod to Nature.

I started by creating a background using two Funky Fossil stencils - Watercolour Lines and Dotty Grid and two colours of distress ink.

Then I stamped part of the image from Funky Fossil Beautiful Inside and Out and coloured it using Copic pens, adding detail with a brown Miya oil pencil. I hand cut this image and placed it on top of the background and finished off with a stamped sentiment.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Beautiful Inside & Out
Inks: Ranger distress, picked raspberry; SU, rose red; Memento, tuxedo black
Stencils: Funky fossil, Watercolour Lines, Dotty Grid
Colours: Copic, G85, RV04, RV09, RV17, RV55; Miya oil pencils, brown

Thanks so much for looking today, I'm always thrilled to have some company.

Keep safe, stay indoors and craft instead!

Thursday Thoughts

Today's share is a card I made for the Theme & Photo Challenge at STAMPlorations.

Here's my card which picks up on the colours and circles from the photo.

I used a stencil for all the background circles and inked through it with Stampin' Up Early Espresso. I then removed the stencil and applied a layer of Cosmic Shimmer mica powder. It really catches the light in real life.

My stamp element for this challenge is the greeting. I heat embossed it in white onto some brown card stock  which matches the base card.

Supplies:
Stamps: sentiment from Funky Fossil, The Quick Brown Fox
Inks: Versamark clear + WOW! opaque white embossing powder; Cosmic Shimmer mica powder, sapphire ultra; SU, early espresso
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Circle Burst
Card: Ppaermill Direct, mocha brown

I'm so pleased to have had you visit my blog today, enormous thanks.

And keep crafting!

Thursday Thoughts

Today I'm sharing a card i made for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge at STAMPlorations.

I was completely smitten by the black background and vibrant colours and based my card very much on this. I hope you like it!

I used the brand new Uniko Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas stamp and heat embossed it in white onto black card stock. I added colour using my Prismacolor pencils and trimmed the panel down to fit behind a die cut frame.

No surprise that it was the purply pink colour that mostly caught my eye and I chose this colour for my base card and sentiment banner.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas, Festive Sentiments Outlined
Inks: Versamark + WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Dies: MFT Die-namics, stitched fishtail flags; Lawn Fawn, stitched rectangle frames
Colours: Prismacolor, Spring green, canary yellow, process red

Thanks so much for dropping by today, it's always so much more fun when I have company.

And keep crafting!
