AAA Cards Challenge #184 Sketch + optional twist Watercolour
I'm here today to tell you about the new challenge that's started at AAA Cards.
Here's the sketch:
I decided to go with the twist and smooshed a watercolour rectangle onto watercolour card.
I then stamped the gorgeous koala bear Wreath Rascal from Tracey Hey straight on top. The image and sentiment are all one stamp and the perfect size for my watercolour panel. Loving how the stamp just spills over a little, but in no way encroaches on the white space needed for a CAS card.
Supplies:
Stamps : Tracey Hey, Wreath Rascals
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress oxide, picked raspberry, salty ocean, peacock feathers
All the other DT at AAA Cards have smashed this sketch out of the park. Go check it all out - HERE.
Huge thanks for stopping by today. It's been really great to have some company.

Funky Fossil February Release - Introducing Geo Elements & Graphic Words
YAY! I'm so pleased you've stopped by today as I'm introducing the first of the stamp sets from Funky Fossil's February Release.
There is a definite 80s vibe about the Geo Elements stamps and they're such fun to combine together and make patterns. And the Graphic Words is one of those really useful go to sets, a real stash basic.
My first card uses both these stamps sets combined with the teacups stencil. A fabulous retro stack! I can remember having saucers and plates to match and each member of my family having their own colour.
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Geo Elements & Graphic Words
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Teacups
Inks: Ranger distress, speckled egg, spun sugar, tumbled glass, shaded lilac
My next card started out as a bit of an experiment to see if distress oxide inks would show up on black card. I stamped a fairly random pattern and then went back in with a brush to touch up some of the colours. A bit of a chalkboard look I'm thinking.
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Geo Elements
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, worn lipstick, tumbled glass, dried marigold; Versamark clear + WOW! white embossing powder
And my final share for today uses both the sets paired up with the beautiful paper pad that's coming with this February release. Gorgeous grungy colours and patterns - the sort that I'd love to be able to create with inks, but never quite pull off!
Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Geo Elements
Paper: Funky Fossil, Patina
Ink: Ranger distress, brushed corduroy; Ranger distress oxide, tumbled glass; EU, blueberry bushel; Versafine Clair nocturne + clear embossing powder
Card Papermill Direct, shiny blue sirio pearlised

Friday Focus
How are you all?
I've been busy making a Christmas card for Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge that uses the colours from CAS Colours & Sketches.
Not your typical Christmas colours, but I think they look really pretty.
I stamped out the holly leaves, berries and pine twig from Uniko's Winter Foliage and then used the matching dies to cut them. I arranged them in a cluster at the top left of the card front.
I finished off with a greeting, also from Uniko.
Supplies: Stamps: Uniko, Winter Foliage, Christmas Wishes
Inks: SU, flirty flamingo, smoky slate, marina mist
Dies: Uniko, Winter Foliage
Thanks so much for dropping by today, i really appreciate it.

Thursday Thoughts
Less is More is celebrating its 10th birthday at the moment. With chocolate! Mmmm so my sort of thing.
Well the colour chocolate anyway! Which is just as well as I discovered I had no stamps of chocolate - which is an enormous surprise considering the amount I actually eat, probably even doubled this last twelve months!
Well the colour chocolate anyway! Which is just as well as I discovered I had no stamps of chocolate - which is an enormous surprise considering the amount I actually eat, probably even doubled this last twelve months!
So I came up with this card instead:
Hedgehogs are chocolate coloured - right? And the bunch of leaves could be some of that posh chocolate don't you think? Milk chocolate is my favourite but I have been known to indulge in white and dark chocolate too, so that gave my Copic E number pens a good workout.
The stripy border at the bottom is a Uniko Background Builder Classics stamp and is so useful for grounding and holding images in place.
Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Woodland Critters; Uniko, Background Builders Classics
Ink: SU, chocolate chip
Die: T4TD, Woodland Critters
Pens: Copic, E25, E31, E37, E41, E47, E55, E57
It's been fabulous to have you drop by today, thanks so much.

Wednesday Words
Another scrapbook page today, but not snow related this time! I've used the sketch and colours from the February White With 1 Challenge.

I decided to use one photo instead of the two indicated in the sketch, but apart from that pretty much stuck to everything else.

I decided to use one photo instead of the two indicated in the sketch, but apart from that pretty much stuck to everything else.
I started by punching the scallop border across the top of the page and then added a main background piece from the same papers. I used two strips of washi tape from funky fossil for the stripes and covered the join with a row of puffy fabric hearts.
The lacey heart is a Polkadoodles die and I added faux stitching using a black glaze pen. A splatter of pink ink and some matching enamel dots finished it all off.
Supplies:
Paper: Amy Tangerine, Oh Happy life
Punch: ek , scallop border
Die: Polkadoodles, Heart Flourish
Alphas: Pinkfresh Studio, Just A Little Lovely
Washi: Funky Fossil, wide stripes
Embellishments: Pinkfresh Studio, Everyday Musings Ephemera; MME Necessities red dots; Sakura, black glaze pen
Ink: SU, flirty flamingo
Huge thanks for your time today, it was gret to have you stop by.
