I'm giving my new Visible Image freebie from this month's Craft Stamper magazine an airing and I combined it with a fabulous large sentiment from Uniko.
I started by making a circular stencil and brushing through it with a pale pink. I then stamped over it with the darker pink circles, some of them a second stamping. I used my misti to get a good depth of colour for the freebie flower and then stamped it off to make the background smudgy flowers.
I added the sentiment, again using the misti to get a really defined stamping - however did I manage before? Have to say this has been one of my better buys and well worth the expense. A trio of sequins just finished off my card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Visible Image, Universal & freebie flower from Craft Stamper magazine; Uniko, All Occasion Sentiments #6
Inks: SU, pink pirouette, strawberry slush; Memento, tuxedo black
Embellishments: sequins from my stash
Huge thanks to you for stopping by my blog today, always pleased to have visitors.
And keep crafting!
A very striking design Jane. Haven't got my copy yet as WHS hadn't got it in, looks a great stamp.

I spotted your card in the gallery at Craft Stamper as I was adding my project using the same freebie stamp! (I don't always like the CS freebie, but this one is a great one, I think). I absolutely love what you did here - so many layers and yet a crisp, clean look. I'm interested to hearyour opinion of the Misti - I look at the price and feel it can't be worth it and yet I have heard others like you, who speak so highly of it.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! Love the abstract look of it!
