Today I'm sharing a card I made using the colours from the challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.
As soon as I saw these colours I knew the stamp I would use and just had to figure out exactly in what way. In the end I plumped for a heat embosed image and watercolours.
I smeared a little of each ink onto an acrylic block, added a little water and coloured in the tulips and background. The tulip block was matted onto fresh fig cardstock and the base card is lemon lime twist. Quite a dramatic mix of colours I'm thinking.
Supplies:
Card: SU, fresh fig, lemon lime twist
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Spring Tulips, Spring Daffodils
Inks: SU, crushed curry, fresh fig, lemon lime twist
Die: Lil'inker, stiched mats rectangles
Thanks so much for your visit to my blog today, I so appreciate you taking the time.
And keep crafting!
