Uniko Revisit Blog Hop - Beautiful Blooms I, II & III

I'm so pleased you dropped by today as Uniko are having their in between release revisit of a stamp set and blog hop.  Well actually this month we're revisiting three stamp sets, all part of the Beautiful Blooms series.

Clear Stamps  BeautifulBloomsIIPP  BeautifulBloomsIIIpp

My first card uses Beautiful Blooms III combined with Birthday Sentiments.

I stamped the outline flower cluster and then added one of the inside marking stamps to the main flower. I coloured it all and then very carefully hand cut round it all - a bit tricky as the stems are quite thin.

I stamped the greeting on a sky blue strip of card and then added the flower cluster on top using foam pads for extra dimension.

Supplies:
Stsmps: Uniko, Beautiful Blooms III, Birthday Sentiments
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: RV02, RV09, YG13, YG17

My next card uses Beautiful Blooms II combined with Simply Said Birthday.

I'm a bit in love with highlight colouring so I wanted to use this on my card, but first I stamped the outline flower all over a piece of white card to make a background. This is so out of my CAS comfort zone!

I die cut the stitched window from this background card and added colour to just this section choosing shades to tie in with the base card. This was adhered to a piece of foam to raise it up before putting back on the background. I also used pads to lift the sentiment flag strip.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Beautiful Blooms II, Simply Said Birthday
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: MFT Dienamics, peekaboo window, stitched fishtail flags
Pens: Copic, R20, R22, R24

My final share for today - yep I'm going in reverse order - uses Beautiful Blooms I combined with
Simply Said Blocks II.

This is a favourite design choice of mine - a splash of watercolour with a simple black stamp on top. I used brusho powders for my background and several layers of Memento black ink on top.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Beautiful Blooms I, Simply Said BlocksII
Inks: Brusho, leaf green, yellow, orange; Memento, tuxedo black

  1. Stunning trio, Jane ! Love them all and above all how you used them ! Being a layering stamp, I would have never thought to use Beautiful Blooms III with markers, but it's just fabulous ! I also love when you go out your comfort zone, you may stamp all over the card, for me your card is still CAS ! The black outlined flowers just add a beautiful background and highlight even more the coloured flower. Such a great design ! Your third card is also a beauty with this watercolour background. As I said, a stunning showcase of these three stamp sets and so many inspiration ! Have a great week. Hugs x

  3. A fabulous and elegant trio Jane! WOW that first one has blown me away! Have I missed a new die for that BB III set? If not your Fuzzy cutting is just fabulous. A superb design, gorgeous colours and placement with that bold sentiment. The fun 'spotlight' colour/stamping of the second one is a fab idea and such a beautiful orange. Makes me think of Summer. Another stunner with a grungy background to the BB1 set and more super colours in that background making the black bloom just pop! x

  8. Jane, that was a surprise as I've been scrolling down watching your CAS cards... Boom! An explosion. The 3rd card is so unusual for your style, and I really like it - Sweet Kobylkin

You don't need a lot of fussy to
