Saturday Spot

Today I'm using the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches as the starting point for my card.

Here's my card:

It was only when I looked more closely at the sketch that I realised the shapes were octagons and not hexagons, but looking at the DT sample cards it seems that it's ok to use other shapes.

I used stamps from three different Funky Fossil sets and kept to just black, white and orange for my colours. The little bee was stamped directly onto the card and then stamped again, hand cut and popped up onto foam pads for dimension. Stamping it onto the card first makes it easier to cut out as you don't need to cut round all the legs and antennae.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Bee Geometric, Blooming Birthday, Geo Bugs
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; SU, peek-a-boo peach
Card: Papermill Direct, tangerine orange

Huge thanks for stopping by today, it's been fun having you take a look at my blog.

Stay safe and keep crafting!
