Wednesday Words

Today I'm sharing a set of ATCs I've made for the challenge at Happy Little Stampers. The theme is Ocean/Sea.

Here they are:

I started with a teal card and stencilled over it using A Colorful Life's Waves stencil. I then stamped, coloured and die or hand cut the images from clearly Besotted. Once I'd decided where to place the images I stamped the bubbles and greetings before adhering them.

I finished each card with a trio of clear gems and some Wink of Stella sparkle and matted them all onto a matching teal card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Fairy Tale Mermaid, Sweet Sea-horse, Under the Sea
Stencil: A Colorful Life, Waves
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, twisted citron; Versafine Clair, nocturne; Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, YG01, YG03, YG13, YG17, Y13, Y18, BG15, BG32, B02, B04, B06, E000, R20
Embellishments: clear gems; Wink of Stella, clear

Tuesday Talk

Today it's a card I have to share with you and I made it to enter the Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge.

Here's my card:

I used some Polkadoodles Gnome for Christmas paper as a background and then stamped the Clearly Besotted sentiment along its edge. I also stamped a little holly sprig from MFT. The main elf image is from Clearly Besotted and I stamped, coloured and hand cut it before popping it up onto some foam pads for a little extra dimension.

Stamps: Clealry Besotted, Little Elves; MFT, Santa's Elves
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Paper: Polkadoodles, Gnome for Christmas
Pens: C1, C3, C5, C7, G94, YG63, R20, R29, R39, G17, BG34, E000

Monday Moment

Day 5 and the last day of my indulgent scrapbooking share without any challenges in mind. Normal service resumes tomorrow!

I'm finishing off with a page featuring my gorgeous and very special granddaughter.

And boy did I hve fun putting this one together! A real pink page using a newly bought echo park pack called Bundle of Joy. You'll probably recognise the background paper as one from the Vicki Boutin Mixed Media pad- just love them all and they're exactly how I would love to be able to create inky backgrounds if I was clever enough.

I piled on the layers starting on the right hand side with some paper and sticker strips and then matting up the photo. this page follows on from yesterday's one about the visit to my Aunt as she sent this book that is being loved by my granddaughter. And I'm so loving her hair up in this top knot! Mega cute!

Supplies:
Papers, alphas and stickers: Echo Park, Bundle of Joy
Background paper: Vicki Boutin, Mixed Media pad

Thanks you so much for visiting and embracing my scrapbooking fest. It's been wonderful to have you share my memory keeping and snippets of my life. Tomorrow I'm back to cards and entering challenges again - but the scrapbooking will be back at some point when I get another set of holiday and grandchildren photos printed.

Huge thanks again and keep crafting!

Saturday Slot

Day 3 and another scrapbook page. This revisits the beach scene from yesterday but in a much more fun and less artsy way.

Unbelievably since they live so close to the sea, a mere 5 minutes drive away, this was my youngest grandson's first time on the sand. You know what they say about taking where you live for granted. but it did mean we got the pleasure of watching him explore the freedom and textures of the beautiful sand.

I used one of the amazing background papers from Vicki Boutin's Mixed Media pad, chosen for its sea blues and lots of scraps from Bella Blvd Secrets of the Sea to mat and layer behind the photos.

Supplies:
Papers: Vicki Boutin, Mixed Media; Bella Blvd, Secrets of the Sea; scraps from my stash
Alphas: Bella Blve, Secrets of the Sea; Simple Stories, Winter Wonderland
Embellishments: Bella Blvd, Secrets of the Sea washi tape & stickers; ep, I'd rather be crafting enamel dots
Dies: Spellbinders, standard circles small; Xcut, Spiro circles

So good to have your company here today, thanks so much for looking.

And keep crafting!

Friday Focus

Day 2 of my scrapbooking fest! And today's page is all about the beach.

Now you know I love CAS and today it seems to have spilled over from cards onto my scrapbook page. This photo really took my breath away and I felt it needed to take centre stage without too  much else going on.

And so it came together really quickly and if I'm allowed to say it about my own work I'm rather taken by it.

Supplies:
Papers: Simpls Stories, Cruisin'; Graphic 45; scraps from my stash
Alphas: SC thickers, Memo; October Afternoon, Mini Market
Embellishmsnts: MAMBI, washi; Heidi Swapp Color Shine, white; Jen Hadfield, Gold Glitter

Huge thanks for dropping by today, it's been a pleasure to have you visit.

And keep crafting!

Thursday Thoughts

Today begins a few days of sharing scrapbook pages. Yep I've been scrapping up a storm and trying to catch up with all the wonderful photos my grandchildren keep blessing me with!

And just for a change there are no challenges involved, they've all been made just for the pleasure of creating and keeping memories.

This page began with inking through the Itty Bitty Love stencil from A Colorful Life. Then I simply stacked up some patterned paper scraps fairly randomly to make a shelf for the photos to sit on. A few stickers and added embellishments plus a little journalling and it was done.

You can see how much the boys enjoyed their play time with fire - under strict supervision of course! I'm not really sure whether it's the toasting or the eating of the marshmallows that they find the most enjoyable.

These pics were taken way back in June when we visited my middle son and his family on the Isle of Man. So you can see what I mean by needing to do a bit of catch up!

Supplies:
Papers: scraps from my stash
Stencil: A Colorful Life, Itty Bitty Love
Inks: Ranger ditress oxide
Embellishemnts: Shimelle, Box of Crayons, camera; MAMBI, washi; Cosmo Cricket, Tiny Text; Pinkfresh Studio, phrase stickers; Paperchase, puffy hearts; ep, have faith enamel dots; altenew our family enamel dots; Maggie Holmes sticker book
