Uniko & Women Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful

Hey!

Today I'm joining in with Uniko as they sponsor the Women Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful Blog Hop.

Here's my card:

I've used the new Background Blocks Solid Wonky Stripes stamp for the background inked up using a Kaleidacolor pastels ink pad.

I stamped the silhouette and greetings from Just Because straight on top and matted it onto black card. I then adhered it all to a soft lilac card base.

Supplies:
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Kaleidacolor, baby powder
Card: Papermill Direct, lilac

Thanks for looking today, hope you'll find time to join in with the blog hop - HERE.

AAA Cards Challenge #185 - One Inchie + optional twist Black & White

I'm here today to tell you all about the new challenge that's just started at AAA Cards.

It's a really tricky one this time and is the first time the idea of using just one inchie on the card has been used at AAA Cards. So we've provided some guidelines:

Ideally everything must be confined to the one inchie.

The one inchie can only be a square or circle.

The one inchie could be a window on the front of the card opening up to a larger image inside.

A sentiment if used should be inside the one inchie.

Here's my card. You'll probably spot I didn't quite fulfil all the ideal one inchie rules to the letter, but as this is the first outing of this theme we decide to be just a little lenient.

I used part of one pf the gorgeous Tracey Hey stamp Wreath Rascals stamped onto a precut one inch square. This was adhered to black card. So far so good, but then without thinking I added a stripy card base - so not everything on my card was confined to the one inchie - oops!

Supplies:
Stamps: Tracey Hey, Wreath Rascals
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Paper: from my stash

Do go take a look at what the rest of the AAA Cards DT and our amazingly talented Guest Designer Hannelie have been up to with this theme. Unlike me most of them managed to stick strictly to the guidelines. Find them all HERE.

Huge thanks for stopping by today.

Wednesday Words

Have you seen that Time Out Challenges are celebrating their 7th birthday?

Well today I'm joining in and have created a card to play along.

As their colour scheme is purple, and purple is my favourite, I chose to use purple for my card.

I pulled out two of the new stamps sets from Funky Fossil's February release - Magical and Graphic Words -  and coloured them up with my Copic pens. Then I added in a subtle background using the Round Tree stencil. I placed it off the edge of the bottom of the card so that the trunk wouldn't show.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Magical, Graphic Words
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Round Tree
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress, shaded lilac, spun sugar
Pens: Copic, V05, V15, V17, RV66, B93, B95, C1, C3, C5; Sakura white gel pen
Card: Papermill Direct, dark violet, super smooth white
Embellishments: Stickles, Star Dust

Huge thanks for dropping by today, I always enjoy having a bit of company.

Tuesday Talk

Less is More is still in celebratory mode for their 10th birthday and I'm joining in again with a floral card. Got to have flowers for a birthday!

I use the beautiful Hello Gorgeous flower cluster from Funky Fossil stamped off the edge and heat embossed in white onto green cardstock.

I added the sentiment from the new Graphic Words set and then had fun colouring it all with my Miya oil pencils.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Hello Gorgeous & Graphic Words
Ink: Versamark clear + WOW! opaque white embossing powder
Colours: Miya oil pencils

It's been fabulous to have you visit my blog today, thanks so much.

AAA Birthday Challenge #23 - Patterned Paper

Hello!

Today I'm sharing the details of the new challenge at AAA Birthday.

Well if you're like me you'll have a very healthy stash of patterned papers. I always used to say to friends when we went to craft stores - remember those days? - don't let me buy any more paper. And always some paper or even a whole pad ended up coming home with me.

Time to stop stroking these papers and get them used!

The papers I used are from Cocoa Vanilla and it also seems I have a few packets of matching die cut ephemera too!
I linked the background papers and ephemera with a central circle and circular frame. the sentiment was stamped onto the circle and I added some enamel dots to finish everything off.

Supplies:
Papers & Die Cuts: Cocoa Vanilla, Daydream
Embellishments: Pinkfresh Studio, Let's Stay Home enamel dots

The rest of the AAA Birthday DT and our Guest Designer Colien have created some awesome masterpieces to inspire you to play along. Check them all out HERE.

Thanks so much for your time today, it's always so much more fun when you come to visit my blog.

Stay safe and keep crafting!
