AAA Cards Challenge #185 - One Inchie + optional twist Black & White

I'm here today to tell you all about the new challenge that's just started at AAA Cards.

It's a really tricky one this time and is the first time the idea of using just one inchie on the card has been used at AAA Cards. So we've provided some guidelines:

Ideally everything must be confined to the one inchie.

The one inchie can only be a square or circle.

The one inchie could be a window on the front of the card opening up to a larger image inside.

A sentiment if used should be inside the one inchie.

Here's my card. You'll probably spot I didn't quite fulfil all the ideal one inchie rules to the letter, but as this is the first outing of this theme we decide to be just a little lenient.

I used part of one pf the gorgeous Tracey Hey stamp Wreath Rascals stamped onto a precut one inch square. This was adhered to black card. So far so good, but then without thinking I added a stripy card base - so not everything on my card was confined to the one inchie - oops!

Supplies:
Stamps: Tracey Hey, Wreath Rascals
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Paper: from my stash

Do go take a look at what the rest of the AAA Cards DT and our amazingly talented Guest Designer Hannelie have been up to with this theme. Unlike me most of them managed to stick strictly to the guidelines. Find them all HERE.

Huge thanks for stopping by today.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

  2. well done, black and white is very striking, i like the striped background, but you're right, not inside the inchie, which just gave me an idea for nect time...just the striped paper cut to an inch? could be any pattern
