A new challenge has just started at Uniko and it's a topical theme if you live in the northern hemisphere.
Mind you the weather is not really keeping up with this and it's still very chilly in the UK. But nature seems to be coping and every day as I go on my walk I see more daffodils popping up in gardens and hedgerows. So naturally I chose the Uniko daffodil for my card!
I decided to make a twisted easel card as I thought the daffodil would be able to nod like they do outside in my garden. I created my own patterned paper using the Large Background Sketched Foliage stamp and some of the smaller stamps from Organic Wishes and then stamped, coloured and hand cut the daffodil.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Spring Botanicals Daffodil, Large Background Sketched Foliage, Organic Wishes
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; SU, lemon lime twist, daffodil delight, old olive
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles
Pens: Copic, Y15, Y17, Y18, Y38, YG63
There's lots more DT inspiration over on the Uniko blog - HERE. I really hope you find time to go take a look and join in with this challenge.
Thanks for looking today, I really appreciate it.
Stay safe and keep crafting!
Smashing Spring card Jane. Daffodils are always a winner in my house. I’ll keep my eye open for when the stamp is in stock💐🌸
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fantastic card, Jane. I am seeing so many interesting folds out there, and I really love this one. I am not much of a folder, but this is quite the inspiration. I love the daffodil theme. We have had 82 degrees one day and snowflakes the next here, but the daffodils are blooming like crazy and I love it. It is an honor to Guest Design for this Uniko challenge with such wonderful crafters. Thanks for having me.
