Oh I love the colours at CAS Colours & Sketches this week! Yes! There's purple!
And didn't I have fun making this card!
I die cut the stitched circle and then placed a smaller die cut circle on top of it as a mask and brushed wisteria wonder over to create the inner frame. I stamped the image and part sentiment in elegant eggplant, then popped the die cut back into its hole to keep my card nice and CAS.
My silver element is the die cut happy. I don't have any silver ink or embossing powder so always struggle when silver comes up as a colour. I'm going to be looking carefully at all your silver to find out what you use and hopefully find some recommendations so I can add silver to my stash.
I'm popping this card into the Anything Goes challenge at Addicted To Stamps and More.
Supplies:
Stamps: SU, Happy Home; Uniko, snetiment from Flower Power #2
Inks: SU, elegant eggplant, wisteria wonder
Dies: Lawn Fawn, Large stitched circle stackables; Claerly Besotted, Happy
Time to say goodbye now and send you off to see what the rest of the CAS Colours & Sketches team has created with these super colours.
Thanks for your time today, I'm so glad you dropped by.
And keep crafting!
Jane, I love your wisteria wonder inner frame, it sets the card off beautifully. And you seem to be doing excellently without the silver ink or powder although I'm surprised since silver and purple are so great together. As they are here. :) Liz x

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to be so late with this comment Jane. Still want to say that I love this card, putting the tree into the circle and overlapping the sentiment die cut looks so elegant. Lovely soft use of the colours too
