Well that theme had me stumped for a while. I don't have any oriental stamps and I couldn't get my head around it needing to be a male themed oriental card anyway. Then I had a blast from the past and remembered teaching about the Chinese New Year and all the animals involved in the story and I do have animal stamps!
So this year I believe it's the turn of the monkey, so that's what I went with. I chose lush reds and golds as my colour scheme - seem to rememebr they are considered happy colours.
I embossed the gold circle stamps and coloured in the monkey using promarkers.
Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Sunburst, Wild thing
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; SU, real red; Versamark
Embossing: Personal Impressions, mirror gold
Promarkers: vanilla, mustard, burnt orange, caramel, umber
