CAS Colours & Sketches #162

The last February challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches begins today and this week it's a sketch.

This was one of those cards that flew together and I knew exactly the stamps I wanted to use.


I used my misti tool to get a good deep colour on the two wall stamps and then popped the elephant sitting on top. I coloured him using promarkers and couldn't resist painting his toe nails bright red.


I added the sentiment and a single strand of twine down the left hand side and I was done.

Supplies:
Stamps: Create A Smile, Poppin' Over
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Promarkers: cool grey 1 & 2, hot pnk, pale pink
Twine from my stash

I'm popping this card into the Stamping Sensations February challenge where it's Anything Goes and Addicted To Stamps And More where they want some colouring.

    Wow - I love this card - the simplicity of the twine and the lovely coloured image. I'm always trying to fill up my paper - I should take a leaf out of your book. Thanks for the inspiration
