Tuesday Talk

Yay, I found time today to squeeze in a couple of challenges between DT commitments. The first one is for Happy Little Stamper's CASE The Designer challenge.

I love these sort of challenges - what could be better than basing a card on a talented crafter's creation?

So I picked up on the elephant surrounded by a background of small elements, but changed up the colour scheme.

After I coloured Hetty the elephant - from Digi Stamp Boutique - I masked her off with a circle and then randomly stamped the flowers. And although my background is not empty white space I still think it's subtle enough to call my card CAS.

Stamps: Digi Stamp boutique, Edwin & Hetty set; SU, sentiment from Happy Home
Inks: SU, pink pirouette; Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Promarkers, cool grey 1 & 2, baby pink, meadow green; Sakura, gelly roll white

My next card is for Addicted to CAS where the code word is BLOOM.

The perfect opportunity to get out that new Beautiful Blooms III Uniko stamp that has me so smitten.

Does anyone else have difficulty lining up multi layer stamps? Even using my misti tool many attempts ended up in the bin and then I remembered - embrace imperfection - so I did!

So anyway once I got a set of stamping I could live with I then hand drew the curved stalk line - scary or what? This card making session wasn't without drama! Since Less is More want a one layer stalk card this week I'm popping this card into their challenge too.

We'd love you to display our banner

Stamps: Uniko, Beautiful Blooms III, Nature's Treasures II, February release freebie
Inks: Memento, rose bud, lilac posies, tuxedo black; SU, pear pizazz
Promarker: marsh green

I so pleased you dropped by today. I know time is limited so thanks for sharing some with me here on my blog.

And keep crafting!

  1. FAB makes and lovely colouring

  2. Beautiful cards. And I don't see any imperfection.

  3. WOW! Love your Beautiful Blooms card, the rich vibrant colours and the pairing with the freebie = stunning perfection. I find multi step stamps hard, but I don't use a Misti or tool to help so that could be why!! Though I find that it is practice with lining up a particular leaf/petal helps. Love the cute elephant card too :) Hugs Bev x

  4. Lovely cards. The top one is sooo sweet and the bottom one is delightfully feminine
