At last it's here - the AAA Cards 2nd birthday and humungous celebration party! So many ways to win prizes it's just amazing.
Look at all these incredible sponsors who so generously donated our birthday party treats:
AAA Cards was my first ever DT gig and I've been part of this fabulous challenge right from the very start, so it's my 2nd celebration too. Here's my birthday celebration card:
I chose some bright colours and a Digi Stamp Boutique image for my card. I coloured the image then die the stitched circle and placed it back into its aperture and added a die cut number. The greeting is also a die cut which I curved round the bottom of the inlaid circle.
I'm thinking I'll store this card away until my little grandson has his 2nd birthday in December.
Supplies:
Stamps: Digi Stamp Boutique, Birthday Nell
Dies: Lawn Fawn, large stitched circle stackables, happy birthday border, Louie's 123s
Would you like to know how to win the fabulous prizes on offer? Check out this out then:

Delightful card! Love that sweet elephant and the festive balloons!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... two things come to mind that I use very often on my cards! Cats and flowers! I love to use cats because I am Mom to a Siamese cat named Coco that we rescued from Animal Save. She has completely taken over our house and our hearts! And flowers because there are so many occasions that they work for. All seasons have lovely flowers so they work for just about any occasion, from Christmas poinsettias to fall mums!
Great idea to save the card for your grandson. I have a 2 year old grandson too and his card for his second birthday was a tree with a swing and a little firetruck down in the grass. My favorite image on cards tends to change from time to time but right now I am "into" elephants. I have an Avery Elle stamp and die that I love!

Jane
I love your cheerful elephant birthday card! My favorite image to put on a card is a little bird - -almost every card I create has one, maybe even on the back. I lost my mom to breast cancer, and in her final days in home hospice care, when she was unable to speak, I would sit with her quietly and we would watch dozens of finches, hummingbirds, and tanagers flock around all the feeders in the yard. It brought her so much peace and serenity. So, adding a little bird to my cards is like sending my mom a little hello, and that makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteLovely card! My favourite thing is lace or flowers, as I make a lot of vintage cards
