My first card uses a combo of All Occasion Sentiments #6 and Flower Power #3. The eagle eyed among you will recognise this flower from the Uniko logo and it has to be one of my all time favourites from the range of Flower Power sets.
I've got a bit hooked on the inlaid dies technique recently and this card uses that plus the partial colouring technique. And it's so easy to do - simply stamp the image, die cut a shape from it, colour just that bit of the image and then pop it back into its hole.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Flower Power #3, All Occasion Sentiments #6
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Promarkers: marsh green, pink carnation, fuchsia pink, amethyst, bluebell
Die: Spellbinders, standard circles small
My second card uses just the Flower Power #3 set and I went with a vivid colour combo of purple and red.
I hand cut the flower heads and raised them on pads before adhering one flower to each die cut square window.
Suppiles:
Stamps: Uniko, Flower Power #3
Inks: Memento, lady bug, grape jelly,
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched triple window
My final card for today's revisit uses All Occasion Sentiments #6 and Nature's Treasures II. I used distress inks, newly arrived on my craft desk, and a bit of masking.
The THANKS was stamped first and each letter individually masked before stamping the leaves and swirls around it. Always exciting to remove the mask and see how it's panned out.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Natures' Treasures II, All Occasion Sentiments #6
Inks: Ranger distress, cracked pistachio, picked raspberry, peacock feathers, blueprint sketch
