Tuesday Talk

Today I'm playing along with Time Out who are celebrating their fourth birthday. Huge congratulations to Sandie and her team for achieving this milestone. So much work goes on behind the scenes to produce a challenge blog and I want them to know that I appreciate their hard work and fabulous themes.

So for my birthday card I wanted to embrace the sunshine, love and laughter from the quote and picked out some sunny yellows as my starting point.

And I couldn't resist the fun expressions on the faces of the sun and elephant - brought a smile to my face anyway! I paper pieced the elephant and coloured in the face of the sun to just add a bit more definition.

I added a straightforward Happy Birthday to finish off - love the font and it seemed to match the simplicity of my card perfectly.

Supplies:
Stamps: HLS, Mix Mash, Whimsical Friends
Ink: Mememnto, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, doubled stitched rectangles
Colour: Prismacolor, yellow

Thanks so much for spending time looking at my blog today, I always enjoy your company.

And keep crafting!
