I've had a little fun with my Lavinia Stamps and lots of ink so I'm sharing that today. I'm going to pop it into the Take It Make It Challenge at Craft Stamper .
Here's my card:
I created the background using my gel plate. I brayered grey ink onto the gel plate and then sprinkled some brusho colours over it hoping to get a graduation from the dark green at the bottom through to the blue at the top. I then spritzed it with water and placed watercolour card over. Then comes the exciting bit, lifting the card to see what's happened - I was pretty pleased with the result!
Once dry I added some hill details using torn paper and distress inks. The next step was to stamp my main images in black Versafine Clair. I adore Lavinia Stamps, they pretty much got me started on this stamping journey and the detail and quality is just stunning. Once the main elements were stamped I then went on to add the background detail stamps using shades of green and blue ink.
I added distress ink round the edges of the scene and of course no Lavinia Stamp card would be complete without a little sparkle. The wings all got a liberal coating of Wink of Stella and I used perfect pearls and Lavinia glitter to add some shine around the little star stamps. The pic below shows the sparkle a little better.
Supplies:
Stamps: Lavinia Stamps, Arial (small), Wet Wings, Fairy words, The Fairy Foragers, Fieldgrass, Dandelions
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress, lucky clover, cracked pistachio, blueprint sketch; SU, smoky grey, garden green; Brusho, yellow, leaf green, ultramarine
Sparkle: Liquid pearls + Lavinia glitter; Wink of Stella, clear
Thanks for your time today, it's been so good to have your company.
And keep crafting!
