Monday Moment

It seems 6th of April is Tartan Day and there's a Tartan Day event going on in The Male Room's facebook group at the moment!

Now the project you share doesn't have to be a new one, although mine is, as this is a just for fun event. It does need to include tartan of course and be suitable for a male. And this is the card I created:

The paper is from an ancient 6x6 pad that's been in my stash for ever and the die is from Xcut. I love this die and it cuts really well if you get the cutting machine sandwich correct. And for once I did! As the paper is quite thin and this makes it tricky with such an intricate die I added a couple of layers of scrap paper under the tartan paper. Hey presto not only die it cut cleanly but all the little bits came away with the scrap paper. No poking them out as usual. Just need to remember this technique for future cuts!

Supplies:
Paper: Paper Cellar, Squares
Die: Xcut, Woodland Stag
Stamp: Uniko, Festive Sentiments
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne

It's been fabulous having your company today, thanks so much for dropping by.

And keep crafting!
