Today I'm playing along with the challenge at Addicted to CAS. The code word is OMBRE and i decided to go with .....
......Ha! Not purple but the other colour in my life - pink!
And what a super way to practise using my Copics! I used a beautiful Create a smile stamp that was gifted to me a while ago and has sat winking at me from my shelf waiting for its time to shine.
Once I'd finished colouring I used a stitched circular die and inlaid it back into the space - well sort of, I had to turn the card over as there were smudges on the side, messy me. And that was the main reason why I had to die cut it!
Supplies:
Stamps: Create A smile, Fun Flowers; sentiment from MFT Adorable elephants
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, RV17, RV55, RV63, RV66, RV69
Die: MFT Die-namics, Double stitched circles
Thanks for your time today, I'm so pleased you dropped by my blog.
And keep crafting!
Gorgeous ombre effect with your Copic coloring, Jane! I love the dark pink shadow and those lovely stripes on the flower petals...so pretty! Thank you so much for playing along with us at Addicted to CAS Challenge!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous coloring and against the white this is stunning! Thanks for joining in at ATCAS
