Sunday Slot

Today I'm sharing a water coloured card that I created to enter the challenge at CAS Watercolour.

As you can see they wanted Something Blue and I went with a bit of a watery/skyline scene using the lovely new stamp set from Clearly Besotted.

I started by creating the background colours and rubbed two colours of distress ink onto an acrylic block, spritzed it with water and then smooshed it onto my card. I tipped the card up while it was still wet to allow the ink to run down a little.  I did this a few times until I was happy with the result.

Then for the difficult bit - waiting for it to dry! Cup of tea time. Once this was achieved I stamped the New York skyline scene and then added some water coloured bits using a brush and a darker blue distress ink. the sentiment was added and I was done.

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Scene It City
Inks: Range distress, blueprint sketch, mermaid lagoon, chipped sapphire

I'm so pleased to have had your company today, thanks so much for dropping by.

And keep crafting!
