They always have amazing sketches that are so easy to interpret. Here's my take:
I decided to stamp the floral border at the top as I couldn't find a paper that I wanted to use and anyway stamping allowed me to choose the colours I really wanted. I used Uniko's Wonderful Day, which seemed very appropriate as this day was kind of wonderful with the weather behaving - totally unlike it has been recently!
I used up paper scraps for the banner cluster and rooted out some stickers and words to match. I replaced the doilies from the sketch with hand drawn circles. I used a tin as a template to draw round.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Wonderful Day
Inks: SU, old olive, baked brown sugar
Papers: Lilybee Design, Cherry Blossom; Simple Stories, Bloom & Grow
Alphas: AC thickers, Patechwork; October Afternoon, Mini Market
Stickers: Jillibean Soup; Lilybee Design, chit chat; Simple Stories, #Whatever & Bliss; Mambi sticks
Enamel dots: Carta Bella, Practically Perfect
It's been fabulus having your company today, thanks so much for visiting.
And keep crafting!
Great job Jane! I love those fun tags and how you drew the circles instead of using doilies! Thanks for joining us at LGS!
