As our sponsor for this challenge is Precious Remembrance Shop and they have some delightfully uplifting and encouraging sentiment stamps I decided to go along with the optional twist.
My one image is the larger heart and I added some splatter behind it. Then I stamped the sentiment which has the smaller hearts as part of it. Do you think I'm pushing the boundaries of the challenge?
Mmm yes well so do I! So I made this alternative card which is definitely only one image and still has the positivity optional twist.
Supplies:
Stamps: Precious Remembrance Shop, Positive Thoughts
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black, London fog, rose bud
Pens: Copic, RV04, RV09
I'm hoping that my two examples might just help someone have that lightbulb moment about exactly what one image means on a CAS card. You see a card can be CAS - as both of my cards are with that all important empty white space, minimal layers and embellishments - but still not quite match up to a challenge requirements. ONE image really does mean ONE image!
Thanks for looking today. Don't forget to check out what the rest of the Design Team has come up with - HERE - and also our Guest Designer for this challenge, Sharon from frommycraftdesk.
I'm popping my first card into the challenge at Less is More where they want Small Images.
And keep crafting!
nah you didn't add those hearts to the sentiment, so I'd day still one image. The other card is fabulously empty and clean
ReplyDeleteI love those PRS stamps and your card is totally FAB-u-LOUS and perfect for the LIM theme

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous, Jane! I love them both and especially the second one. Don’t know if More CAS can be done! It’s definitely a fabulous take on our challenge ! Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More.
ReplyDeleteBoth wonderful cards, Jane. I don't know which one I love more, but both CAS at their perfect best. Thanks for joining us at Less is More. It is always wonderful to see you here.
ReplyDeleteFollow your heart....something I've been told by several lately. Great card. =) Tracie
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards Jane - I agree with you, the first one felt like two main images to me! But I love them both!
