White with 1 - November Challenge

In Australia it's already the 1st November and time for the new challenge at White With 1.

Check out those colours! And just look at the textures on the mood board! Well here's my attempt at
re-creating them onto a scrapbook page.

I started by adding a stencilled background pattern picking up on the coffee cup pattern from the photo. I then layered up my photo using a hessian paper as the grounding strip.

A date and time that will stay in the memories of 2020 as the start of a very strange and uncomfortable few months.

Supplies:
Papers: scraps from my stash
Inks: Memento, peanut brittle, potters clay
Punch: ek, notebook border
Embellishments: Simple Stories, Sweater Weather, Legacy, So Rad & Say cheese; Vicki Boutin sticker book; Cocoa vanilla, Boys Rule

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I always enjoy having your company for a while.

Polkadoodles Too Cute New Release - Snowball Kisses

Have you seen the new clear stamp release over at Polkadoodles? Well today I'm sharing some ideas using one of the stamp sets - Snowball Kisses.

For this card I started by creating a bit of a background scene using one of the Christmas Holiday Layering stencils and two colours of ink. And quite a bit of added in sparkle too! I then coloured up the sweet carol singing rabbit and popped her up onto a snowy bank.

For my trio of tags I used each of the main images from Snowball Kisses and a Posydoodles tag die. The papers are from All About The Dudes and Gnome For Christmas packs. The images were cut and popped up onto foam pads and added on top of the diagonally cut papers. I finished each tag off with a stamped holly sprig, a ribbon and that obligatory Christmas sparkle.

Are you in love with these super cute images as much as me? If you go visit the Polkadoodles shop you'll find loads more DT inspiration using them. But be warned you're going to fall even more in love with them!

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog today it's been so much fun to have your company.

Funky Fossil October New Release - Introducing Space Cadet

Hey! So are you ready for the next introduction of Funky Fossil's October Release? Thought you might be!

Any space fanatic is so going to love this set! I actually die cut a window and stamped the view into space behind it and also on top of it. I then added some stencilled Alien Invasion around it.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Space Cadet
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; SU, rich razzleberry, night of navy, real red
Die: MFT Die-namics, peek-a-boo circle window

My next card is just the simplest to create. I stamped using a Kaleidacolor ink pad to get the fluctuating colours and then chopped it up into three parts before matting onto a dark card base.

My final share for today uses the planet balloon stamp from the set. Once I'd stamped and coloured it I cut it into two and added a thin strip of card to extend the string so that it would fit over the window aperture.

Supplies;
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Space Cadet
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress oxide, salty ocean, wilted violet
Pens: Copic, G02, G05, YG09, C00, C3, C5, B04, Y15
Die: MFT Die-namics, peek-a-boo circle window

Just one more day of introductions to go and then on Friday you'll be able to make your purchases. Tomorrow's introduction is a really cute and fun set designed by Donna - you know her style and will not be disappointed!

Thanks for looking today. Stay safe and keep crafting!

AAA Cards Challenge #177 - Maxi White Space + optional twist Stars

Yay! Time for a new challenge at AAA Cards.

So it's got to have loads of empty white space - that means not patterns or embossing, just smooth white card! And then maybe one or more stars added. But think small stamps and small sentiments that don't encroach on that white space too much.

I used Uniko stamps - the challenge sponsor - and a multi coloured ink pad to add extra interest.

Supplies:
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Kaleidacolor, baby powder

The AAA Cards DT have loads of awesome inspiration to delight you - HERE. See if you can find the card with the most empty white space, the card with a whole scene inside a star and the card with the smallest star. Magic!

Thanks so much for looking today, it's been so much fun to have you stop by.

Polkadoodles Anything Goes Craft & Card Making Challenge

Time for another Friday Challenge at Polkadoodles. As always it's Anything Goes.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Christmas for the guys.

I chose the Gnome 25 December clear stamp for my card and paired him up with the Gnome For Christmas paper pad. I stamped him onto the largest rectangle using the Posydoodles rectangles dies and took inspiration for my colours from the papers.

I then stamped the greeting onto tags using the Posydoodles tags dies and tied them together with some red twine. I also added loads of sparkle using Stickles glue.

Supplies:
Stamps: Polkadoodles, Gnome 25 December
Paper: Polkadoodles, Gnome For Christmas
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, E000, R20, R29, R39, R59, Y11, C00, C1, C3, C5, BG10, BG11, BG15, BG32, BG34, G21
Extra: Stickles, Stardust

Thanks so much for dropping by today. I'll hope you'll find time to join in with this week's Polkadoodles Challenge - HERE. Remember it's always Anything Goes and there are prizes to be won so you've got nothing to lose by playing along.
