Funky Fossil September Release Introduction Day 5

Hello and welcome to the last day of introductions to Funky Fossil's September release.

Soon be time to make those decisions, but before you do take a look at today's Christmas sets - It's Christmas, oh my some sweet gnomes and the most gorgeous ever Folk Tree die.

I'm starting with the gnomes - too irresistible!

This is my favourite gnome from the set - just love how he's rushing along and almost spilling that pile of presents. I kept my card very simple and just added in a strip of the Merry & Bright washi at the top and bottom of the card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, It's Christmas
Washi: Funky Fossil, Merry & Bright
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, C1, C3, Y26, Y28, E00, R32, R29, R29

The Merry & Bright washi gets another outing on my next card and this time i chose the cookie eating gnome as my focal image.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, It's Christmas
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, E00, E50, E51, E33, E35, R32, W3, W5, R39, R59, R89; Sakura white gelly roll

My final share uses the gorgeous and detailed Folk Tree die. It's been designed with a perforated centre so that it can easily be folded into a 3D project - I'm seeing a whole banner across the mantelpiece.

But for today I just created an all white card by stacking up four layers of the tree.

I'd be interested to know how you see the tree. I know it's a stacked up pile, but my eyes keep telling me it's an inverted tree with embossed elements.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Christmas Small Print
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: Funky Fossil, Folk Tree

Ok, so that's the end of the introductions and you've now seen everything that will be in store tomorrow at 9.00am UK time.

Have you made your mind up? I'll be back tomorrow with a few more cards using the September release. Hope to see you then!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, I always love to have your company for a while.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

  1. Just love the sweet gnomes and yes my eyes see the same as you for the tree I really thought you had embossed the die instead of cutting it!
