Funky Fossil September Release Introduction Day 2

Hello and welcome back to the next day of introductions to the Funky Fossil September Release.

Still looking for that perfect Christmas set? Well I think these ones may fit the bill.

How awesome are the robins?

So having googled robin pics I set to work colouring up one of them.

I added glossy accents to his breast and also the heart on the log.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Festive Robins
Pens: Copic, E35, E37, E40, E41, E43, E44, Y38, YR68, R05, YG67

I love the trailing ivy - Ivy was my nan's name - and created a border by repeated stamping it. it took an age to colour up, especially as I went to town and added in some pencil highlights on top of the Copic colours.

I then die cut a square and stamped the heart shaped ivy with some mistletoe hanging from its centre. I finished it all off by adding some glossy accents to the berries.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Festive Robins
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, G24, YG67, R27, R59; Miya oil pencils

My final share uses both of the robins - well it would be rude not to - having a bit of a chat about their plans for Christmas.

I had a scrap of corrugated card lurking in my neutrals box and used it to ground the robins. I coloured them up using watercolour pencils - a bit of a change for me as I always forget about them and usually reach for my trusty Copic pens.

Supplies:
Funky Fossil, Festive Robins
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Colours: Derwent Inktense watercolour

That wraps up another day of introductions. Tomorrow is a really fun day, so be sure to check back in to find out.

Huge thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate you taking the time.

Stay safe and keep crafting!
