Today I'm playing along with Less is More where the theme is to use the colours of fireworks.
Here's my card:
Well fireworks light up the sky in a multitude of colours, but all of them sparkly and shiny. So my take was to add a bit of shimmer in a swirly pattern to some black cardstock - I was channelling the Catherine Wheels we used to have when my kids were young. The only problem of course is that my photographic skills don't run to capturing shimmer, but believe me in real life those Lustre Luxe colours really glow!
I used the bottom part of the stencilled lustre luxe pattern to die cut the word CELEBRATE and adhered it to the bottom plain black die cut panel.
Supplies:
Stencil: TCW, Mini Modern Spirals
Inks: Lustre Luxe, purple pearl, ocean blue, sea green
Dies: MFT Die-namics, basic stitched edges & Celebrate
So pleased to have had your company today, thanks so much for dropping by. And keep crafting!
Beautiful use of colors on the black !
