AAA Cards #135 - One Plus Three + Friends

Today I'm here to tell you about the new challenge at AAA Cards

You know how tic tac toe boards work, well AAA Cards has come up with a new variation of this - One Plus Three.

All cards need a sentiment so that's the one taken care of. Then pick three more elements from the pie chart for your card - only three and you can only use each one once!

I've a couple of cards to share with you, both use stamps from our sponsor Pink & Main. They're offering a $20 store credit to one lucky winner - got to be worth a try for!

My first card has a sentiment + a stamped image, an inked stencil pattern and a trio of small embellishments.

I started by completing all the stamping. I then masked the image and placed a stencil over and inked up a bubbly water like pattern. Once the stencil was lifted I added three clear dots - am thinking they look like water drops.

Supplies:
Stamps: Pink & Main, Rain or Shine
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress, mermaid lagoon
Stencil: TCW, Mini Mod Spirals

My second card uses a sentiment + a stamped image, colouring pens and a die cut. It also includes the twist of Friends

I simply stamped the image onto a die cut circle and then used Copic pens to colour. The sentiment was stamped next to the die cut.

Supplies:
Stamps: Pink & Main, Rain or Shine, Sunny Hello
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitcched circles
Pens: Copic, C0, C1, C3, YG17, V12, V15, V17

If you'd like to see some more examples of how the One Plus Three works then go see the AAA Cards DT creations HERE. And while you're there check out the lovely card made by our Guest Designer Janet (aka Swanlady).

Thanks so much for looking today, it's always fun to have your company.

And keep crafting!

  4. When I saw your cards, I was like 'Ishani, you had troubles?? Look at Jane, she got two'. And beautifully CAS, loved the stencils one.. with no colour on your critter. I am inspired to try that kind of selective coloring.
