Tuesday Talk

Today I'm sharing a tag I created for the challenge at Tag You're It.

Such a pretty inspiration image! Here's how I interpreted it:

I was so taken by all the multicoloured umbrellas that I decided to try to create an umbrella background for my tag using a stencil. I used six Memento teardrop colours taking the ink straight through the stencil from the ink pads.

Then I stamped, die cut and coloured the cute MFT umbrella boy and popped him up onto pads for extra dimension. I also stamped a sentiment from the same set and cut it into two to make it fit. I finished off my tag with some multi coloured strands of twine.

Supplies:
Stamps: MFT, Puddle Jumper
Inks: Memento, pear tart, lady bug, dandelion, elderberry, danube blue, bahama blue, tuxedo black; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Stencil: Carta Bella, Deco Dots
Dies: MFT, Puddle Jumper, stitched traditional tags
Pens: Copic, R20, E000, E00, E23, E37, E70, Y13, Y18, YG13, YG23, B00, B02, B04, R29, R39
Twine from my stash

Huge thanks for dropping by my blog today, I'm so delighted that you did.

And keep crafting!

  2. Fabulous tag Jane, the stenciled background really does look like the tops of lots of umbrellas, and perfect for your beautifully coloured little chap with his umbrella and boots. Thanks for sharing with Tag You're It, Robyn
