Friday Focus

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I made for the Card Chain challenge.

http://picasion.com/

I'm always a bit remiss in getting round to sharing these cards. I think it's because I make them and then have to keep quiet until they've arrived and they sort of get lost in the general hurly burly of preparing blog posts.

Any way this first card is from August's link up:

Theme: Lighthouse, Fruit or Friendship
Product/Technique Options: Stencils

There is no obligation to use all the suggested elements and for my card I used the colours, sketch and friendship theme.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Flower Power #1, Simply Said Blocks. Big & bold Hello
Inks: SU, berry burst, blueberry bushel, bermuda bay
Washi: MAMBI skinny

My second card is from September's link up:

Theme: Food, Cats, Friendship
Product/Technique Options: Wool or Twine

Once again I opted for the colours, sketch and theme. This was such a fun card to make and unusually for me has an all over stamped background! I die cut the circle greeting and raised it with pads.

Supplies;
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Summer Treats
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black; SU, chocolate chip, wisteria wonder, tangerine tango
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched circles
Pens: Copic, E57, YR16, BV25,; Winks of Stella, clear

If you fancy joining in with October's exchange of cards you've got until 6th October to sign up. Find all the details HERE.

Thanks so much for looking, it's been lovely to have your company.

And keep crafting!

  1. Lovely cards for both challenges, Jane! I have to admit I found Gail's colour combo a wee bit challenging for September, but was surprised by how much I liked the end result! Thanks for being a link in the chain, Jo x
