I'm playing along with the double challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches today. I always used to dread this challenge when I was on their DT as I used to get ideas to suit the sketch that didn't work with the colours or ideas for the colours that I couldn't make fit the sketch. Today I think I've made a match!
Here's my card:
I new I had a very old wooden block banner stamp lurking in my stash and decide to make that my starting point. I stamped it in baked brown sugar and then added colour using my copic pens, trying very hard to match the pink and green as closely as I could. I hand cut around the banner and popped it up on foam pads.
I then die cut an oval window, stamped the greeting on the cut out piece and inserted it back into the aperture, well almost but using foam pads to raise it just a little. the whole card was then matted onto green cardstock.
Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts, Hello Flags; Uniko, Birthday Sentiments
Inks: SU, baked brown sugar
Die: Spellbinders, petite ovals large
Pens: Copic, R32, G21, E35
So pleased to have had your company today, I really appreciate you taking the time.
And keep crafting!
Lovely! Jo x
