Sunday Spot

Today I'm here to share a card I created for the Food and Drink challenge at Time Out. And since it fits flat into an envelope and uses stamps that only arrived on Friday and this is their first airing I'm also entering it into the challenge at Cards In Envy.

  Cards in Envy

Here's my card:

I stamped and punched the summer treats and sentiment circles and die cut a vibrant pink rectangle to pop them on.  The two lollies are on pads, but I'm pretty sure the card still fits an envelope for flat rate postage. I'll just pull them off and adhere them flat if I'm wrong!

I thought long and hard about buying the matching dies, but decided I could fussy cut the food images and hoped the circle would fit either one of my punches or dies. So I was really pleased that it did - must confess to being a bit of a tight wad when it comes to stamp dies!

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Summer treats
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; SU, melon mambo, Bermuda bay
Die: Lil'inker, stitched mats long & skinny rectangles
Punches: 1.5" Woodware; 1" Xcut
Pens: copic, N1, BG32, E21, E33, RV02, RV04, RV09

Thanks so much for looking today, I've loved having your company.

And keep crafting!

  1. Well you didn't need the dies!! Your fussy cutting works perfectly. These all look so yummy...how I love sprinkles! Wonderfully coloured and such vibrant colours work so well with the darker base. Fab to see you at Time Out...you know we always love your visits x

  2. Great CAS card love the vibrant pink and selection of little stamps-definitely didn't need the dies-I am with you on that score I have some flower stamps and dies which do not cut as good as fussy cutting -so now dies are redundant
