I don't know about you but the thought of water - cool water that is - has sounded so appealing for most of this Summer. Well anyway that's the theme of the new Happy Little Stampers ATC Challenge that's started today.
And here's my watery atc card:
I started by creating a watercoloured background using a child's paint palette and once that was dry I added to it with a wavy stencil using distress inks. I stamped the fish, coloured them with the same distress inks and hand cut them. I popped them up on pads for added dimension.
A touch of white gel pen here and there just lifted the whole card a little. The whole card was then matted onto some dark blue cardstock.
Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Fairytale Mermaid
Inks: SU, emerald envy, night of navy; Ranger distress, mermaid lagoon, blueprint sketch
Stencil: Heffy Doodle, Bubble Waves
Watercolour paint pallette
Pens: Wink of Stella, clear; Sakura white gelly roll.
I've already had a peep at the atc cards the rest of the HLS DT have created - you're in for a treat! Find them all HERE.
Thanks for visiting my blog today, it's so much more fun when you drop by.
And keep crafting!
Very pretty ATC. Thank you for sharing. - Priya Satish
