Friday Focus

Today I'm sharing a card that I made using a new to me idea for a stencil which is the theme of the challenge at CAS Stencil.

Here's my card:

I used the Light Loops stencil from A Colorful Life which is a 3" x 6" size and sprayed through it with some watered down ultramarine brusho that had dried up and needed wetting again. Then to add more colour I mixed in some fresh purple powder to the bottle and sprayed through the stencil a second time. And got in a bit of a mess - nothing new there when I use Brusho inks!

So after a clean up and giving the ink time to dry out I trimmed it all down leaving the spatter that occurred on either side of the stencil - you can tell from this the sort of mess I got into! I then stamped a greeting both sides of the stencil pattern, added a dark purple strip and called it done.

Supplies:
Stamps: Greeting from Uniko, Pure Florals Cosmos
Inks: Brusho, ultramrine, purple; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Stencil: A Colorful Life, Light Loops

  2. I love your messy splatters for borders and your twice stamped sentiment, which adds another border. Beautiful Brushos sprayed stenciling and purple CS layer too. TFS and so glad you did not give up on your spraying so you could add your beauty to CAS Stencil. Hugs..Nancy
