Monday Moment

How hot it's been here in the UK recently! Almost too hot to feel like crafting at all, but I forced myself.

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page that helps to make me feel cooler and it's going into the challenge at Scrap the Boys.

Here it is:

I really struggled with adding the stars on this page but thought there was a loose connection with his tee shirt and I liked their splodgy splashy patterns.

And I have to say he was actually far more interested in the whole process of getting the pool ready than he was in actually playing in it........ until he discovered he could make me scream by kicking the water out over me!

I'm taking Shimelle's new class at the moment - LAYER ON LAYER ON LAYER - and although this page is not part of my homework I am embracing the layering of embellishments from the first couple of video lessons.

Supplies:
Papers: AC Shimelle, Box of Crayons; AC Amy Tangerine, Rise & Shine
Stamps: Uniko, Reach for the Stars, Background Builders Seeing Stars
Inks: SU, pool party, lemon lime twist
Die Cuts: Pretty Little Studio, stars
Stickers: October Afternoon, labels; Sidewalks, word stickers; Kaisercraft; Simple Stories, Life in Color, Carpe Diem; MAMBI PRS68
Alphas: AC Thickers, Hugs; Simple Stories, You Are Here

So pleased you took some time to visit my blog today, thanks so much.

And keep crafting!
