I'm back to card making for today's share. There's still going to be plenty more scrapbook pages to come, but I've been away for a couple of days at a college re-union and birthday celebrations for my Aunt so it I've some catching up to do!
I'm playing along at Time Out today where they've a lovely quote to inspire.
And my card is super CAS - just needed to reconnect with simplicity after all those layered scrapbook pages.
I added mermaid lagoon distress ink to the bottom two thirds of my base card, making the colour deeper and more intense at the bottom.
I used the heart left over from a die cut window to stamp the smile sentiment onto and simply stamped the rest of the greeting next to where I was going to place the heart. the heart was then attached with foam pads for extra dimension.
Stamps: Uniko, All Occasion Sentiments #6
Inks: Ranger distress, mermaid lagoon; Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched heart peek-a-boo window
Huge thanks for your time today, it's always makes my day when i have visitors to my blog.
And keep crafting!

So pretty, Jane! I love the soft wash of blue, you have created a wonderful background in a very simple, yet striking way! Thanks for joining us at TIME OUT!ReplyDelete
I do love a CAS design and this one is even better using my favourite blue/white colour combo. Beautiful blending and crisp, clean die-cutting. So glad you shared this with us at TIME OUT!ReplyDelete
