Today's card is a birthday card for the challenge at Inkspirational and is something a bit different for me.
Here's my card:
Because I have a fear of using watercolours apart from smooshy sort of backgrounds I signed up for the new Online Card Classes Simply Watercolour workshop. And that's how my squared background for this card came about. I simply die cut the finished pattern and added some black stamping and a die cut on top.
I bought the cheapest set of watercolour block paints I could find - wasn't sure if I'd take to it so didn't want to splash out! And yes I quite enjoyed creating this card, but we'll see where I go next.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, All Occasion Sentiments #2; Clearly Besotted, In Stitches Easter
Ink: Versafine, onyx black
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, it's always lovely to have some company.
And keep crafting!

A+++ on your fabulous patchwork background, Jane! Pretty and absolutely artsy awesome! Thrilled you shared this gem in the Inkspirational gallery! I really should sign up for this class, given how watercolour and I do *not* get along; maybe down the road. You've definitely inspired me!
