Another two scrapbook pages to share today. and both are from the second week of Shimelle's Layer on Layer on Layer class.
The first uses a doily to stack the layers on and the second uses envelopes.
Now this was a huge challenge for me as I'm not really a lover of doilies on layouts, but I scrabbled through my stash and found a pretty heart doily and gritted my teeth and layered it up!
As you can see half of the doily is hidden under the photo and I've placed some of the title on top. that's a supermarket orange wire bag peeping out behind the doily.
Supplies:
Papers: AC Shimelle, Box of Crayons; October Afternoon, Hide & Seek
Alphas: AC tjickers, Subway
Stickers: AC Vicki Boutin; MAMBI, puffy stickers, Chips, The Happy Planner
Enamel dots: Simple Stories, Carpe Diem
My next page is much more to my taste and I loved the idea of using envelopes to store hidden journalling and little treasures from my youngest son's wedding day.
He gave an absolutely heartfelt speech, had us all tearing up and I've included some of the lovely romantic things he said on the tags in the small pocket.
The journalling in the larger pocket all starts with Today to echo the title and records my favourite memories.
supplies:
Papers: Echo Park, just Married
Envelopes: Vellum and Glassine, handmade from papers in my stash
Stickers: AC Maggie Holmes
So pleased you had time to drop by today, it's always fun to have visitors to my blog.
And keep crafting!
Both beautiful pages and photos love all the embellishments and tags in the little pocket
