Today's scrapbook page is the last one from the first week of Shimelle's LAYER ON LAYER ON LAYER class.
This page was all about repetition of elements across the page and choosing papers to reflect things from the photo. So I chose the brick wall and wood papers as the background and flowers and hearts as my embellishments.
The diagonal placement of the embellishment cluster repetition helps the eye travel across and down the page and is also really useful if your stash only includes two of everything instead of the usual three we all like to work with.
The colours of this page reflect two of the wedding colours - pink and green. And it was a beautiful day and she was a beautiful bride.
Supplies:
Papers: Kaisercraft, Memory Lane & Fleur; Bo bunny, A gift of love
Embellishments: Kaisercraft Fleur stickers; MAMBI wasshi & stickers; Pearls & lace tape from my stash
So pleased to have had your company today, thanks so much for your time.
And keep crafting!
