Thursday Thoughts

Less is More has a very interesting challenge going on at the moment - Items From Your Bit Box.

Now this really is a challenge for me! I'm not one to hang on to bits that have gone wrong or ideas I've tried out just in case. Nope I'm a chuck it in the bin girl!

However die cuts are one item I do tend to save and store along with their matching die, mainly as I find them useful to place when I plan out projects. So here's my card using what I found:

The scribbly heart was a bit of a surprise find as I'd forgotten I even had that die set. Always interesting to see what is lurking at the bottom of my stash!  Then I lucked out and found the matching LOVE which I put away with the heart.

The die cut navy blue rectangle was actually left over and sitting on my table from when I was working on a different card. I just needed to cut a base card and I was all set up and ready to roll.

Supplies:
Dies: Sizzix Scribbles & Splats; MFT die-namics, Celebrate; Lil'inker, stitched mats rectangles

Thanks for looking today, I'm always pleased to have you drop by.

And keep crafting!

  2. I admire you for not having a bits box! I always keep things....just in case ! But the cases are not so often and I was happy with that challenge to have the opportunity to use some of my leftovers ! For someone who didn’t have bits box you did a beautiful card with the few ones you had in stock ! I’m just surprised there is no purple! So glad you could join us for this challenge. Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More.

  3. Most of my bits are offcuts of just cardstock, and then when I make another I always seem to cut into a fresh piece...why?!!! Who knows, I'm a lunatic! I had this very die cut heart in my stash but cut from black glitter cardstock and couldn't get my head in gear with it, so it's nice to see yours did get used :) Love the stylish silver/navy combo.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x

  4. WOW! you must have a perfectly neat and tidy craft room Jane with no bits boxes hanging around. I'm glad you've managed to create this beauty for Less is More. It's super striking against the navy background and those gorgeous left over glitter die-cuts are simply perfect. Thanks for playing along x
