The Male Room - #44 Star Trek

Are you a trekkie? Or maybe into sci fi? Well this fortnight's challenge at The Male Room is going to be right up your street. So - “…Second star to the right — and straight on ’til morning.”

I always used to watch Star Trek when it was first shown way back when, but never really got into the modern series. Anyway a little research on the internet reminded me of the uniform colours and that was my starting point for my card.

And as it's space I chose a black base card and embossed falling stars in gold all over it.  I then embossed the sentiment onto a red strip - trying to embrace that red stripe on the tops of some of the characters.

The three little gems just finished it off - maybe they are echoes of the badge?

Stamps: Uniko, All Occasion Sentiments #2 & Simply Said; SSS, Falling Stars
Ink: Versamark
Embossing: Personaal Impressions, mirror gold

I hope you can see the Star Trek connections in my card and will have a go at this theme yourself. The rest of the DT have also been finding their inner space creativity - or do I mean outer space? Go check our their cards - here

Thanks for looking today. Believe in the possibilities and boldly go crafting! And remember “For everything, there is a first time.”
