Wednesday Words

Hey! Today I have a card to share that has plenty of smooth empty 'white' space, but it's not white! Did you know that 'white' space doesn't have to be white? Surprised me too when I first learnt that!

I'm entering my card into two challenges - Time Out and Less is More.

Here's that card:

I started by heat embossing the gorgeous chrysanthemum from Uniko - I always feel really pleased with myself once I've typed chrysanthemum, such a tricky one to spell! Then I used my Prismacolor pencils to add colour. Love how bright and vibrant they look even when colouring on dark card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals Chrysanthemum
Inks: Versamark claear + Ranger superfine white embossing powder
Prismacolor pencils: crimson red, pale vermilion, orange, canary yellow

Huge thanks for looking today, I'm really very chuffed to have had your company.

And keep crafting!

  5. I know what you mean about spelling that flower, I always have to Google it to check I've got it right! I think your card is genius, using a clean, blue cardstock and having the flower in the corner is so inspired from the photo. Love the simpleness of the design and your colouring of the flower is beautiful. Always love seeing you at TIME OUT!
