Monday Moments

Today I'm playing along with the Repeat Stamping challenge at Perfectly CAS.

Here's my card:

I used the grassy border stamp from T4TD Lucky Ducks and stamped it three times across the bottom of my card. I stamped it in the middle first and then added the sections each side.

I also used the sweet dragonfly from the same stamps set and stamped that three times across and added in the tiny bee stamped twice.

I added a sentiment along the bottom left of the card as I didn't want to go into the empty white space.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Lucky Ducks; sentiment from Brighter Days
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, E41, E51, B12, RV00, RV09, BG11, T02, Y08, YG06, YG09

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I really appreciate you taking the time.

AAA Cards Challenge # 191 - One Layer + optional twist Use Hexagons

It's time for another challenge at AAA Cards

It's that favourite of CAS card makers - One Layer or as we've now decided to re-brand it - No Layers.

I decided to also use the optional twist of hexagons. And hexagons always lead me to bee themed stamps.

So I inked up a corner and then stamped the heart hexagon, little bee and greeting from Uniko's Bee Happy.

Supplies:
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress, mustard seed
Colours: Miya oil pencils

Do pop over to AAA Cards and take a look at all the fabulous DT and Guest Designer Sue's cards there. You'll be inspired!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I love having you visit my blog.

Saturday Slot

I'm playing along at Happy Little Stampers again today, but this time with their CAS Challenge.

I've use the delightful see-saw image from T4TD Life's Ups & Downs on my card:

As this was to be a CAS card I kept everything towards the bottom of my card to leave plenty of empty white space above. This image looks really sweet when die cut and attached with a brad so that the see-saw can move, but I thought this might not suit the CAS genre.

So I stamped the see-saw middle and masked it off and then stamped the rest of the see-saw and the animals on top. I coloured using Copics and added in some background too.

Supplies:
Ink: Memento, tuxedo lack
Pens: Copic, B0000, B000, YR68, R17, R20, YG06, YG09, W3, W5, W7, N3, N5, C1, C3, C5; Sakura black & white glaze

Enormous thanks for spending some time and keeping me company on my blog today.

Time For Tea Designs May Release

Exciting day today as I share the cards I've created for the Time For Teas Designs May Release.

This is such a fun and enormous release and you are going to love it!

First up is a card I created using the You've Got Mail stamp set.

Next is a landscape slimline using the same set. Loving those snails!

How about this new sunray cover plate die? And not forgetting the little car and super cute driver from Car Critters.

And for me the most exciting die the new Slimline Pull Tab Interactive die. It would work so well with the Car Critters, but for my card I've paired it up with one of the fairies from an older set Fairy Garden.

And the list goes on! Another new stamp set that would work brilliantly with that Pull Tab Interactive die. The Paper Plane Pals stamps and dies are just so clever, designed so that the critters fit into a slit on the large plane.

My final card for today uses the Car Critters and Hillside Village stamps with the Slimline Scalloped Nesting and Slimline Hillside Scenes dies. I've paper pieced each house in a different bright colour and then added extra colour with Miya oil pencils.

I know you will be blown away by the variety and choice in this release. So all you need to do do now is to write your wish list and make decisions.

Stay safe and keep crafting and enjoy your shopping!

Thursday Thoughts

Today I'm adding to my Christmas card stash with a card I created for the Christmas Challenge at HLS.

Here's my card:

I knew I had this CAS-ual Fridays mistletoe stamp so that was a given, but I wanted something to be under waiting for a kiss. What better image than Donna's little fairy from Funky Fossil Christmas Characters?

I went with traditional reds and an olive green and found this scrap of Stampin Up paper lurking in my Christmas box stash.

Supplies:
Stamps: CAS-ual Fridays Mistletoe & Holly; Funky Fossil, Christmas Characters
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, YG 95, YG97, RV000, RV02, R29, R59
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched basic edges

I'm so pleased that you visited my blog today, huge thanks for your time.

Wednesday Words

Today I'm sharing a card I created with the fabulous new Funky Fossil Quirky Tree die. It's going into the Anything Goes With Dies challenge at Happy Little Stampers.

I chose some of the speciality cards from Papermill Direct and created a sort of ying and yang layout.

The largest of the three trees in the Quirky Tree die set was cut from both gold sirio pearl and charcoal black sparkle pearl card. I then cut extra of the tree inserts to balance up the card.

Supplies:
Die: Funky Fossil, Quirky Tree

Thanks so much for looking today, it's been fabulous to have your company.

Tuesday Talk

Today I'm using a stunning Uniko stencil on my card going into the challenge at Happy Little Stampers.

It's the Pure Florals Gerbera stencil and trio of oxide inks ranging from yellow through orange to pink.

It's one of those stencils that will look amazing whatever colours you use and i really love it!

I also inked up around the edges of the base card in the same three oxide colours and the sentiment is from - yes again - Floral Vines.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Floral Vines
Stencil: Uniko, Pure Florals Gerbera
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, squeezed lemonade, dried marigold, kitsch falmingo; Memento, tuxedo black

I'm so pleased you came to visit my blog, thanks so much.

Monday Moment

There's a lovely CAS sketch at Less is More and I've used it for today's card share.

I have rotated the sketch by a quarter turn to suit my card image - hoping this is allowed. I did check but couldn't find anything to say no.

I started by stencilling the rectangular block from the sketch using two colours of oxide inks through one of the patterns on Funky Fossil's Make Your Mark III.

Then I stamped, coloured and hand cut one of Donna's cute little doggies from More Furry Friends.

I cut the sentiment into a strip for the dog to sit on.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, More Furry Friends
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress oxide, dried marigold, wild honey
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Make Your Mark III
Pens: Copic, 505, R17, C1, C3, C5, C7

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog today, it's been so much fun to have your company for a while.

Sunday Spot #2

Just popping back today as I've a card that needs linking up to the challenge at Create A Smile pronto!

I have a small stash of Create A Smile stamps but some of them are a bit ancient, so I opted to update my supplies by using one of their free digis as the main focal image on my card.

It was the large amount of green in the mood board that first caught my eye and the smaller pops of reds and oranges. The digi image is a sort of bug and I printed it out twice so that I could use foam pads for extra dimension.

The brick wall and greeting are from older Create A Smile stamps, now discontinued. I used my Copic pens to sample some of the colours in on the mood board.

Supplies:
Stamps: Create A Smile, digi Ameise, clear stamps from Poppin' Over
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, B0000, B000, B00, Y18, Y19, YG06, YR02, YR14, R05, R14, R22

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I really am happy to have you visit my blog.

Sunday Spot

I love a cute image and today's card share is for The Cutie Pie challenge.

The theme is : GORGEOUS GINGHAM & PERFECT PLAID.

I went with the gorgeous gingham using Papermill Direct card and a mega cute image from Whimsy Stamps.

I chose the lilac gingham card and die cut a scalloped frame. I coloured up the adorable fairy image and then had the idea to paper piece her dress - couldn't resist her headband boppers too!

Since I still had the banner flag stamp handy I added in a bit of corner interest.

Supplies:
Stamps: Whimsy Stamps, Mazarine Butterfly Fairy; Funky Fossil, Let's Party
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Card: Papermill Direct, lilac gingham
Pens: Copic, R20, BV11, B12, Y15, E00, E11, E33

Huge thanks for your time today, I'm so pleased you came to visit my blog.

Saturday Slot

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the challenge at Inkspirational.

Here's how I was inspired:

I immediately thought of banner flags and was pleased to find that the cat's hat in the same Funky Fossil Let's Party stamp set was also a triangle.

I was also pleased to use up the negative part of the gingham die that was left over from another card - hate to waste anything!

Supplies:
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Card: Papermill Direct, pastel blue gingham
Pens: Copic, N1, N3, N5, N7, B21, B23, B24, R20, RV55, Y35

Uniko Challenge #65 - Anything Goes + optional twist Use Die Cuts

A new challenge has just started at Uniko. It's a really easy theme  - Anything Goes with the optional twist of Use Die Cuts.

As it will soon be Father's Day I went with a bit of a masculine theme for my card.

Although as I couldn't resist using a bold purple I guess this is really a bit of a unisex card.

The stamps and matching dies are from Explosion and Explosion Additions.

Supplies:
Ink: Versafine Clair, fantasia
Caed: Papermill Direct, dark violet plain

Be sure to pop over to Uniko to check out the rest of the DT  and our Guest Designer Elaine fantastic cards.

Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate you taking the time.
